| what motivated me to create this site |
there was once a video on youtube titled "a basic introduction to the personal web" from a youtube channel named psychcool (sadly, this guy disappeared from the internet. wherever he is, i thank him very much.).
there are people who create personal websites and blogs to escape from social media and their algorithm, therefore i also decided to create a personal website and a blog. social media apps
(especially instagram) have been making horrible changes that makes the apps unusable and stressful for me to use, then i beginned to realize when i was young, the real reason i created
a social media account in the first place was to give my artwork publicity and meet people with similar interests. i believe social media apps used to be fun (like tumblr and the old polaroid era instagram), i used to post art and make many cool friends through
fandom spaces (oh the good old days). in this era of "dead internet", making a personal site can be the solution. |
